Tea for Two...

Culver City, CA
Nestled between factory buildings on an industrial strip of Washington Blvd in Culver City sits Royal-T. Its hard to miss with it's exterior of a deep green faux hedge and vast windows looking into what appears to be another world. The Japanese inspired Royal T is part concept store, part cafe, part gallery and event space. Their signature 'Milk Tea' is to die for and I've heard the food is great. The store sells everything from wide eyed dolls and Daniel Johnston figurines to super limited edition jewelry pieces. The current Kaws curated exhibition space sees the works of Richard Prince, Takashi Murakami, and Yoshimoto Nara amongst others hanging behind the glass walls that grace the interior of this most spectacular space. Well worth a visit!
